Desert Escapada: In Conversation With The Iconic

It’s not often you get to design your own collection, let alone be able to work with the most incredible team while doing so. After the amazing response from the first collection, I am so grateful to be able to do this again and launch ‘Desert Escapada’ in collaboration with Atmos&Here.

The collection is inspired from a year of travel and wanderlust while embodying the perfect holiday capsule. She’s effortless and vibrant with a touch of luxe!

"bold, elevated, chic"

How would you describe your latest collection with Atmos&Here in three words?

Bold, elevated, chic.

Packing for a holiday destination can be tricky – what are your top tips for distilling your wardrobe down into a suitcase?

My biggest tip is one and done pieces! Think dresses with beautiful silhouettes, colours and prints that give high impact in one piece. The Desert Escapada range has a great selection of these. You can keep the accessories and shoes simple (aka less to pack!).

And if you love your separates my tip is to go for easy to mix and match block colours.

What are your must-have pieces from the collection?

Ok, of course this is SO HARD! But I’ve been reaching for the Maldives mini dress for fun dinners out with the girls, the Bahamas maxi dress for day to night events, the Cuba linen suit for smart casual events and I have the Caribbean dress ready to go for the festive season!

What colours, shapes or design details can we expect to see in the collection?

I was actually binging Daisy Jones and the Six while travelling through LA and Palm Springs when I started moodboarding this collection! So it’s no surprise that we ended up with bold vintage prints, textured fabrics and flowy silhouettes. I especially love the volume in the sleeves.

What is your dream getaway, and what would you pack for it?

I love going back to the beaches in Sri Lanka, or somewhere equally as warm and by the sea! So many pieces in Desert Escapada were designed with a warm weather getaway in mind. I would pack the Barbados Broderie Shirt as an easy cover up for swimmers, or style with linen Cuba shorts, the Tahiti Linen Blend Jumpsuit for a day of sightseeing and the Caribbean dress for dinner and drinks.

Happy Shopping!

T, xoxo
