Guys. It’s here. The Kmart Summer 2017 collection has dropped and I’m calling it: It’s their best yet.
Read on for my must-have pieces, along with some styling options!
DRESSES
Embroidered Sleeve Dress ($20)
This dress gives me serious ‘SEED Heritage’ or Country Road vibes at the fraction of the price. It ticks 3 major trends this seasons: red, off the shoulder and embroidery PLUS it’s 100% cotton.
STYLE NOTES:
Team with white sneakers ($8) or heeled mules ($17) to easily dress up or down.
Short Sleeved Gingham Dress (also comes in black) ($15)
Excited to see the gingham print sticking around for summer, and even more thrilled to see it venturing into other colours! If you shy away from red this is a great print to ease into it.
STYLE NOTES:
Team with white sneakers ($8) and panama hat ($9) for an easy weekend look.
I’ve already bought this dress and absolutely love the way the a-line skirt flares at the bottom. It makes the dress so easy to walk in- and the way it swishes around is fun!
STYLE NOTES:
Layer with a denim jacket ($25) and/or cotton tee ($8) and add a touch of rose gold with these super soft slides($10).
JUMPSUITS
Did you know Kmart design all their prints in-house? Here’s one of them!
STYLE NOTES:
This print pops up through out the range (I have my eye on the $15 wide leg pants too!) and is easily paired with denim, white, red or navy.
Sleevesless Jumpsuit ($25)
I absolutely love the black jumpsuit ($25) I’m wearig in the first image, and this striped version is it’s the perfect counterpart for casual wear.
STYLE NOTES:
Add some contrast with black mules ($15) or keep in neutral with a denim jacket ($25) and white sneakers ($8).
Denim Playsuit ($20)
This playsit is not only an uber flattering cut (a tie belt that accentuates the waist and hides the tummy? YES please!) but it’s also made out of lycocell, a super breathable material with 50% great moisture absorptions than cotton. Shut up and take my money.
STYLE NOTES:
Styling options are plenty with this one cos: denim. But I can see this being dressed up with nude heeled sandals, rose gold slides or these fun studded clogs ($25)
TOPS

BOTTOMS

STYLE NOTES:
The tops all have some great detail going on making them very easy to pair with black/blue/white denim and sneakers/sandals.
Alternative, turn the detail on with the bottoms and keep the tops nice and simple!
