Today we take it from beach to bar with a hit of LSD…Little Striped Dress that is.
A few posts ago it was all about the LBD but I can’t go past a little striped number either. This one was picked up for $40 from Sportsgirl and it’s definitely serving me well. Loose and floaty enough to go from being worn over swimmers to brushing off the sand and bringing on the cocktails.
I snapped the vest up while Portmans was having a 30% off sale, a permutation of which is sure to be repeated in the near future (thank you boxing day sales). I must admit I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the offerings over at Portmans. The shop assistant informed me that they’ve switched suppliers and are trying to market to a younger crowd, and the items are not too shabby at all- like the Lisa Dress which is currently on sale for less than $55-bargain! Not to mention, their dresses will actually cover your bum! Is it me or are the hem lines getting shorter and shorter?
ANYWAY, before I show my age too much lets take a moment to discuss this clutch. This $4 clutch. Kindly bought to you by Kmart. Moral of the story? Keep your eyes and ears peeled, fashion treasures are everywhere!
