Best Priceline Products

Every now and then the Priceline Gods bless us mere mortals with a 40% off sale on either makeup or skincare (pro tip: they’re often a couple of weeks apart). And we go, unsurprisingly, nuts for it.

Over the past few years, I’ve been using these sales to try new products, often after extensive googling in the aisle to pick the best of the bunch! And while I’ve had my fair share of duds (Rhianna can rock a bronze metallic lip. I cannot.) these products are the ones I’ve been purchasing on repeat- sale or no sale!

Maybe bookmark this page for when the next Priceline sale hits? 😉

MAKEUP

My drugstore brand of choice is NYX. Mostly for the fact they have a foundation that doesn’t appear ashy on a brown girl, and also cause quality products for cheap, cheap, cheap!

The primer I’ve listed goes on velvety smooth (I prefer the clear, but the reviews say the coloured options are great for pigmented skin), while beauty bloggers have raved about how the brow pencil is a dupe for an Anastasia Beverly Hills one. And if you follow me on Instagram you know I’m a sucker for the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara. While they say it’s a dupe for Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’  I say it’s not even in the same ball park- it’s 100 times better! A false lash effect that doesn’t smudge through the day but slides of so easily with cleanser? Sold.

SHADES I USE:

Total Control Drop Foundation: Shade 17.5 Sienna

Brow Mascara: Espresso

Micro Brow Pencil (dupe for Anastasia Beverly Hills!): Espresso

Intense Butter Gloss (only gloss I ever finish, great nude/pink for brown skin): Chocolate Crepe

*UPDATE 25th March 2019*

Ok, guys, it’s been a few months so invariably I have a few more faves to share in celebration of the current 50% off sale! Linked below:

L’Oreal True Match Foundation in Cappuccino

L’Oreal True Match Blush (can’t see my shade online but it’s close to Candy Cane)

L’Oreal Wake Up and Glow Palette

L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte in Greige Perfecto

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Golden

Maybelline Master Precise in Black

Bourjois Lip Pencil in Chocolate Chip (team with lippy above!)

Burts Bees Lips Gloss Crayon in Pacific Coast

SKINCARE

The Ordinary skincare range is the cult fave currently on everyone’s lips/face. Unfortunately, they are usually NOT included in 40% off sales but the return on a very small investment (average price is around $15!) is very much worth it.

I’m on my second bottle of Buffet (makes my skin smoother and more hydrated), and have tried the Hyaluronic Acid (hydrating, will buy again) and the Advance Retinoid (haven’t used long enough to comment but some T2T followers and Kimmy K swears by it!). Slowly working my way through most of the range and next on my hit list (aka when it’s finally re-stocked) is the Niacinamide (minimises pores and smoothes skin appearance).

Other skin care products I love stocking up on are below!

Hope that was helpful, treasure hunters! This list will no doubt grow as I continue to trial my way through Priceline! TBC…
