MOM Jeans

I’ve been on the mom jean bandwagon for a while now, and since I don’t see myself jumping off anytime soon I’ve rounded up some similar styles to my absolute favourite pair from Abrand (pictured above).

If the term ‘mom jeans’ conjures up some not so fashionable images fear not. Mom jeans of 2018 (well, the ones I like any way :p) tend to be fitted through the hips with a straighter leg which makes for a more balanced and flattering silhouette than the styles found circa 1990. Also, I feel that high-waisted is synonymous with mom jeans, and anything that brings the eye to the smallest part of your torso is alll good with me.

The Abrand ones I have were one of those rare unicorn purchases. I was strolling through TKMAXX and happened upon them, the last pair and in my size, for a crazy $60. #wat

The name on the tag was ‘high rise slim mom jeans’ and I’ve been on the hunt for the exact pair ever since for you guys. If you’re after Abrand n particular they’re stocked at The Glue Store, The Iconic and Myer but they also have their own website.

The closest style to mine would probably be the first pair below, but I also have the ASOS pair and they’ve lasted well through the 4 years I’ve had them!
