I teamed up with Westpoint Shopping Centre for their Spring/Summer 2016 Campaign: The Hunt. True to the theme on Day 1 of the project I was given a budget, 5 hours and free rein to hunt out and style pieces hitting Westpoint stores this season. It definitely was a dream come true for this little bargain hunter! Day 2 saw me experience my first ‘proper’ photoshoot (aforementioned ‘lights, camera, action’!) to create content for my publication, a free magazine available in center full of my style tips, bargain finds and my favorite Westpoint stores- so have a squiz if you get the chance!
So, what did I find? With my old favourites Target, Forcast and Supre in the house: PLENTY. But this $45 playsuit for outfit number 1 is brought to you by Hipster, a little treasure trove of a store full of on-trend but affordable pieces. Playsuits are a season staple and the sleeves on this one were too fun to pass up (p.s get ready for flared sleeves on everything this season!). The print also caught my eye as the black background gives a bit of an edge to the floral. Matching the $30 clutch (Colette by Colette Hayman) to the pastel of the print balances out the black. I had ‘drinks with the girls’ in mind when I styled this so went for $50 block heels from Spendless Shoes to maximize comfort on the dance floor.
