I’m all about the pink and blue colour combo at the moment so it’s no surprise this outfit came together. In fact, my first purchase during my Westpoint hunt was this top from Target: off the shoulder, stripes AND $35- what’s not to love? With the blouse as a base a springtime ‘date night’ look started coming to mind. And so the hunt continued to find pieces in on trend palette of pastel and tan hues to finish the look. I remembered seeing this $80 Bardot skirt online and thanks to Myer stocking the brand I was able to grab one at Westpoint. The fitted style balances out the volume of the top, while the old ‘blouse-tuck’ helps polish the look. Another old but favourite style hack is heels similar to skin tone as it helps elongate the legs (#winning). I found my perfect pair for $90 at Billini, which also have the ‘lace up’ trend of the moment down pat. Throw in a tan Forever New bag and you’re good to go!
